Sojung Park, PhD, ATR-BC, LCAT
Sojung Park, Ph.D., ATR-BC, LCAT, is an assistant professor in the department of art therapy education at the Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea. She has years of clinical experience in New York City; her research interests include multiculturalism, addiction, and the use of digital media in art therapy.

Seungeun Kim, MEd
Seungeun Kim is an art therapist. She is graduated from the Ewha graduate school in Seoul, Korea. She research interests include multiculturalism, emotional abuse, job stress, schizophrenia, intellectual disability and the use of digital media and recycled media in art therapy.

Hyunjung Lee, MEd
Hyunjung Lee, Ed.M.,is a representative of the culture and art community Giajeongwon in Gyunggi, Korea. She has years of experience as an art therapist in korea; her research interests include multiculturalism, communities and the use of digital media in art therapy.

Yuri Kim
Yuri Kim is a student of art therapy education at Ewha Womans University in korea. She has a year experience as a trainee in korea; her research interests include multiculturalism, art matrials and the use of digital media in art therapy.


This workshop introduces traditional Korean art materials to expand multicultural competence among art therapists. Participants will learn the philosophical and therapeutic aspects of various traditional art materials of Korea through a PowerPoint presentation. This will lead into hands-on experience to create an individual artwork using Meok, Hanji, and Ssal-pul.
