Gail Rule-Hoffman has practiced as an art therapist since 1977, and has been educating art therapists since 1987. Currently she is the director of the Ursuline College graduate Art Therapy and Counseling program outside of Cleveland, OH, and serves on the AATA Education Committee.
This group will discuss the impact of counselor program accreditation (CACREP) on art therapy curriculum and licensure. Strategies for strengthening art therapy programs that include courses taught by related professionals will be reviewed.
