Sze-Chin Lee, MAAT, AThR, LPC, delivers art therapy services to diverse populations across hospitals, social service agencies and schools. He has presented internationally on art therapy supervision, and art therapy in clinical and community-based settings. Sze-Chin's recent research focuses on the impact of digital technologies on social, emotional and psychological well-being. He has been examining the use of affordable augmented / virtual reality and digital technology for collaborators and users to participate in immersive experiences.

Alex Koen, MA Student
As a South African Alex has for the past five years worked multi-culturally as a registered specialist wellness counsellor in private, hospital, community, group, school and individual settings. He is currently completing his Masters in Art Psychotherapy from Lasalle College of the Arts.


This course will present a variety of digital media to discuss art therapy-related work using Immersive Reality, illustrated through case examples with a specific focus on Augmented Reality. Participants will experientially explore presenters’ developed methodologies and engage in a dialogue regarding the examples, questions, challenges, and effectiveness of the approaches.
