Expressive Draw-A-Story: A Powerful, No-Fail Expressive Art Therapy Drawing (Ticket Required) (NY-TA2267)

Workshops (Requires a Ticket and Separate Registration)

Jonathan Haag, DAT, ATR-BC, LISW-S
Jonathan Haag is an Assistant Professor of Art Therapy at Millikin University. He has 25 years of experience as an Art Therapist. Previously, he worked at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in the capacity of Art Therapist for 16 years and developed the art therapy program, Drawn Together.

This workshop offers art therapists an opportunity to re-acquaint themselves with Silver’s Draw-A-Story as a therapeutically modified and expressive tool. The workshop’s experiential component invites participants to create a modified Draw-A-Story drawing. Practical applications of flow and pre-structured art materials will be discussed.
