Clara Keane, MA
Clara Keane is Coordinator of Communications and Policy for the American Art Therapy Association. Her communications responsibilities include managing our weekly e-briefing Art Therapy Today and supporting other content platforms such as website, social media pages, and presentations. She additionally coordinates support for our chapter state advocacy efforts and acts as a liaison between the AATA and our partners in the wider mental health and arts communities.
The AATA’s public policy team works year-round to support chapters engaged in legislative efforts for licensure, insurance reimbursement, and state employment of art therapists. Whether or not you are currently involved in your state, you are invited to discuss legislative priorities and strategies, network with advocates in other states, and participate in interactive legislative planning activities.
