Raquel Farrell-Kirk, MS, ATR-BC
Raquel is a former President of the Florida Art Therapy Association. She has been published in the American Journal of Art Therapy and "The Silver Drawing Test and Draw a Story" (2007), in the American Journal of Art Therapy and has presented both nationally and internationally on art therapy with the elderly and art therapy in school settings. She has a private practice and owns and operates an alternative education center in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. She has provided art therapy at inpatient psychiatric units, geriatric day programs and public schools.

Susan Boxer Kappel, MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, CGP
Susan Boxer Kappel maintains private practice and is a clinical supervisor at Hofstra University Counseling Mental Health Clinic. She develops programs for special focus organizations with a variety of populations. Susan is the AATA's 50th annual conference chair. She is a former president and current chapter delegate of NYATA. Susan was an adjunct professor and has given lectures across the nation about various topics in Art Therapy.


This Master Supervision group will provide clinicians who are working in, or have worked with, communities following natural disasters, mass shootings, or other shared traumatic events to share information and strategies that have proven effective in research and/or practice.
