Jessica Stallings, Program Therapist, Adjunct Professor
Dr. Jessica Stallings, ATR-BC, LMHP taught at Emporia State University, worked in private practice, and is currently working in partial hospitalization with children ages 5 to 12. She completed a dissertation on using popular culture with individuals with ASDs.
Gaelynn Wolf Bordonaro, PhD, ATR-BC
Dr. Gaelynn P. Wolf Bordonaro, ATR-BC, Director of the ESU Art Therapy Program, has presented throughout the USA and internationally. Passionate about international art therapy responses to natural disasters, pediatric medical art therapy, and therapeutic uses of photography, Gaelynn is the Clinical Director of CHART and serves on the AATA Nominating Committee.
Katrina Miller, EdD, MS, NCC, LPC
Dr. Miller is a full professor in the Department of Counselor Education (CE) at Emporia State University, serving as department chair. She teaches psychosocial development and disability to all CE master's students. Her areas of research interest include due process and reasonable accommodations for Deaf persons in the justice system; issues of social marginalization and linguistic incompetence in the Deaf community; and teaching and addressing training concerns in counselor education. Dr. Miller is a board member for Kansas Counseling Association. Miller has an Ed.D. in Deaf Education & Deaf Studies, an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling with the Deaf, and is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. Miller enjoys collage and working with found materials.
Stephanie Clark, Child & Family Art Therapist
Stephanie Clark, MA, ATR-BC, LCPC, LSOTP is Child & Family Art Therapist for Children's Research Triangle, a community non-profit organization in the Chicago area. Stephanie provides art therapy services in schools and community settings to children, teens, and families who've experienced trauma and other adverse events.
This workshop will provide basic instruction in glass fusion and case studies describing use of glass arts in art therapy. Participants will learn and apply basic glass fusion skills and discuss implications of using glass techniques in art therapy. Participants will create an original glass fusion piece.
