Rachel Crawford, MA, ATR-BC, LPCA, QP earned a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from The George Washington University. She currently works part time at Healing Hands of Joy, a nonprofit that does postoperative work with women who have suffered from child birth injuries in Ethiopia. She additionally works for Levine Cancer Institute's Integrative Oncology Department's Healing Arts Team in the chemotherapy infusion and bone marrow transplant units.

Alex works as a Corporate Relations professional striving to leverage corporate and non-profit agenda through mindful, mutually beneficial partnerships. Alex's long-serving clinical leadership in art therapy and disability services is essential to her intrinsic drive to serve as an innovator within the field of health and human services. True to Alex's performance is a strong emphasis on creative problem solving and enthusiasm for both external and internal collaboration.

Emily Ortiz Badalamente, MA, ATR-P, is the Director of Art + Wellness for the Sawtooth School of Visual Art in North Carolina, where she facilitates outreach and community programming, primarily with cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and support staff. Emily received her Master’s in Art Therapy from the George Washington University.
How is it that three graduates from The GW Art Therapy Program wound up working for the same agency for adults with IDD in NC? Together, they will address different aspects of working in a day support setting, including but not limited to administering PPATs and implementing programs.
